School culture, as a group phenomenon, can affect many aspects of teachers’ characteristics and performance. Self-efficacy and occupational enthusiasm are among these aspects that have been explored among male and female high school teachers in the city of Fanuj. A categorical random sample of 132 male and 80 female high school teachers were given three instruments of assumed validity and reliability, measuring the three constructs mentioned above. Data analyses showed no gender significant difference as related to self-efficacy and occupational enthusiasm. However, a significant positive correlation between school culture and those two variables was observed. Further analyses show that 46% of self-efficacy, and 50% of occupational enthusiasm is predicted by school culture.
