Abstract:   (33 Views)
To identify and prioritize executive functions that can affect school performance, a sample of 47 scientific documents published within the span of 2002-2021 was content analyzed and a sample 20 educational experts was interviewed. The analysis of the collected data revealed that the most important executive functions, as relating to school performance, are: active memory, goal identification and planning, organization, and self-regulation. Practical implications regarding the use of these findings are clarified and, as a result, the literature in this area has been expanded.
