Areas Covered:
Articles sent to this publication are required to cover both theoretical and applied aspects of the subject in the following areas:
- Foundations of Education (History, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, and Economics)
- The structure of levels and fields of study within the Ministry of Education
- The status of education for special groups (e.g. tribal, rural, suburban, immigrant, gifted, etc.) and different types of education (e.g. technical, vocational, adult, virtual, and distant) within the educational system
- Curriculum and Educational Technology, developments in both pedagogic processes and methods
- Strategic Planning, Educational Planning, and Developmental Planning
- Recruitment, training, retraining, maintenance, and evaluation of teachers’ and staff’s performance
- Introduction, criticism, and assessment of educational innovations across Iran and the world
- The role and effects of Information and Communication Technology in Education
- Economics and finances of education
- Organization of Research in Education and utilization of research findings
- Organization of the design, implementation, maintenance of educational spaces and facilities
- Leadership and management, organizational and administrative structures, and rules and regulation governing them across different levels of education
- Basic learning competencies for the new era such as entrepreneurship, creativity, life skills, problem solving, and citizenship skills
- Educational Psychology and academic, vocational, and adaptive counseling and guidance
Guidelines for submitting articles:
a) Content should be
1. related to the aforementioned goals and fields.
2. presented while observing the relevant socio-cultural values.
3. based on research.
4. inclusive of new findings, useful for educational system in I.R. Iran.
b) Procedurally and structurally, the papers must
1. be uploaded at www.qjoe.ir
2. include the first and last name(s) of the author(s), their level of education and field of study, academic ranking, institutional affiliation, email address and phone number on the first page followed by the abstract (max. 250 words) and key words.
3. not exceed 20 pages (6000-6500 words) typed in Word2003.
4. have the titles of tables and graphs clearly stated.
5. be referenced according to the latest APA style manual.
6. not have been published previously (authors ought to clearly state this fact in their letter of submission). The right to publish is reserved upon article’s acceptance.
