A Conceptual Framework for Sowing the Seeds of Sharing and Cooperation in Schools

To arrive at a conceptual framework for helping with the development of the attribute of sharing and cooperating among students, the views of 12 experts were sought through semi-structured interviews to the point of saturation. The main intent of the questions asked was the identification of ways of helping with the development of above-mentioned traits. The extracted answers to these questions and their follow-ups were content analyzed to arrive at the following dimensions of the sought framework: The dominance of a cooperative atmosphere, within school cooperation and sharing, and cooperative interaction with the community. Furthermore, for each of these dimensions related sub-dimensions, totaling 9, were identified. The obtained framework can be used by schools and educational planners. |
