Given the necessity of paying attention to the culture of cooperative learning in any curriculum, it was deemed constructive to see if signs of such a culture are exhibited in 4th through 6th grade Farsi textbooks. Content analyses of the six textbooks used in these grades yielded mixed results as far as different aspects of the said culture are concerned. Transformativity is most emphasized in 4th grade Farsi textbook, while interactionism is the most exhibited sign in textbooks of the other two grades. The least emphasized aspect of cooperative learning across the three grades is process orientation.
