Abstract:   (4755 Views)

Art education is emphasized within the elementary school curriculum, yet ways of implementing it are rather vague. Given that such an education would include the development of all senses, and improvements in esthetics, imagination, and creativity, on the one hand, and the constituent elements of a curriculum include objectives, content, teaching and evaluation methods, an experiment was conducted in order to show that art education can be achieved through the curricular elements of any subject, even one in experimental science. Data analyses show that the emphasis on different dimensions of art education through curricular elements of the selected subject can lead to significantly positive changes in students’ learning and creativity. It is, therefore, suggested that such approach be taken in all levels and subjects.

Keywords: art education, experimental science, sixth grade, curricular elements
