National Curriculum is one the subsystems of the Fundamental Reform Document of Education that maps out the general curriculum and the framework for curriculum planning. The main objective of the current research has been the identification, validation, and the weight of elements required for the implementation of this curriculum. To this end, a set of documents were analyzed, and a group of experts interviewed. Findings of the research reveal the following as steps necessary in implementing the curriculum: the design, preparation, and ratification of intermediary documents, preparation of curricula, the design and production of learning material and media, planning for the recruitment, training, and empowerment of human resources for the task of curriculum design and development, and curriculum implementation, documentation, and monitoring.
