In order to clarify the principles and methods of moral education from a metamodernistic perspective, it was deemed necessary to explore this perspective first. To do so, initially a systematic review of experts’ opinions on morality in metamodernism was undertaken, and then their educational implications were derived. The initial stage of the study yielded six characteristics for morality which are being: composite, structured, diverse yet centered, actively hierarchical, original, and care oriented. It appears that the ultimate goal in metamodernistic approach to moral education is the development of an active person within the isolationist atmosphere of the postmodern era, and as such includes eight mediating objectives along with eight principles and seven methods for moral education.
